Ted Marfia became a Realtor® twelve years ago after a thirty-three-year career in Law Enforcement. He has an honest, straightforward approach to real estate because, after his former occupation, he knows that the details matter. Ted makes sure each client has the information they need to make the right decisions for themselves and their families and is always available for whatever they need. His background gives him an expert ability to neutralize emotionally charged situations, making him an ideal ally in high-stakes negotiations.
Ted moved to El Dorado Hills from the South Bay fourteen years ago looking for a rural, peaceful existence. He appreciates the lifestyle of El Dorado County and his clients appreciate his knowledge of it. Ted knows the area inside and out and can easily recommend neighborhoods that will complement his clients’ lives. He endeavors to provide the most transparent service possible, and his referral business was built on the fact that his clients trust him.
Ted’s real estate expertise is only outpaced by his compassion. He and his wife spent fifteen years fostering newborns that were addicted to drugs and alcohol and rehabilitated twenty-three children. He now volunteers as a Law Enforcement Chaplain with Sierra Law Enforcement Chaplaincy. When not helping clients or volunteering, Ted enjoys restoring old cars.
